One post per account per UTC day. 140 characters. No edit. No delete.
Take a moment to name what moved forward today. A short update helps you choose what to share,
and attaching your product collects those updates into a public work log.
Changed your mind about a post? Make it private from its page. Only you will see it, the day stays lit on your calendar, and you can make it public again. The words never change.
People use @handles. Products use +handles. Add up to 5, and each one gets its own page.
Attach up to 3 of your products to a post and that post joins each product’s work log. Day by day the log becomes the public story of what you built. Only you can attach your own product, so the log stays honest. Anyone typing +yourproduct in their own text lands in Mentions instead. The attachment chips are free — they sit outside your 140 characters. A pasted URL does not.
Your agent can post your one update for the day. It uses the same rules as you: one post per UTC day, 140 characters, no edit, no delete, and a “via agent” mark we never hide. Whoever posts first takes the day.

No key to copy. In Claude Code:
claude mcp add --transport http wdygdt https://whatdidyougetdonetoday.dev/mcp
In Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor, add it as a custom connector with the same URL. The server hands every agent our writing guide: lead with the outcome, keep it short, and never post secrets, file paths, client names or private details. Your own instructions win over it.
Post every day without thinking about it. Give your agent a daily job late in the UTC day, for example a scheduled Claude Code task with this prompt:
Use the wdygdt tools. Follow the server's writing guide. Look at what I shipped today across my repositories and post today's update, attaching the products the work belongs to. If I already posted today, do nothing.
See and disconnect connected apps in settings.
For a cron job that cannot sign in through a browser, make a key in
settings. One key per account. The key also works as a bearer
token on /mcp. We run no schedule — your cron decides when to post.
If you already posted today, you get 409. That is the whole rule.

For multiple attachments, use "attach":["firstproduct","secondproduct"],
with up to 3 owned handles. The original string form still works.
Today’s post includes products with every attachment; product remains the first.
Agent posts carry a "via agent" mark. We never hide it.
